FARMINGTON — On Wednesday, July 13, after a 2-year battle with cancer, Laurette “Vickie” Victoria Audette passed away peacefully with her family by her side in her Farmington home.

She was a career caregiver and a dedicated person, who always put others before herself. She was loved and respected by all co-workers, employees and supported individuals. Vickie will be remembered for her remarkable selfless service of individuals and families with special needs and disabilities, and as an advocate for human rights.

She was an administrator at Leap and Maine Growth Opportunities, a supervisor of the cancer team at Notify MD and a teacher’s assistant at Horace Mann Academy. She gave selflessly to her family, friends and anyone in need within her community.
