1929 – 2016

LEWISTON — Mary E. Crocker, 86, a longtime resident of Livermore, died Tuesday, July 19, at Central Maine Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Gouldsboro, the daughter of Manley and Ellen (Hall) Wilkinson. Mary was a graduate of Bar Harbor High School. On Aug. 3, 1957 in Bar Harbor, she married her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Crocker. He passed away Sept. 2, 1997. They made their home and raised their family on Norton Road in Livermore. Mary worked for Bass Shoe in Wilton until her retirement.

Mary enjoyed gardening, word searches, puzzles, going on excursions with her good friend Pat Cronkite and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Rose and his wife, Marjorie, of Livermore Falls; Richard Crocker and companion, Wanda Young; daughters, Barbara Libby and Brenda Newman and husband, Rodney, all of Livermore; grandchildren, Jamison Hood, Maygan Callahan and her husband, Jeremy, Erika, David, Tyson and Kenda Newman, Robert and Ronda Rose, Ian and Madison Friddle; and several great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sandra Dunton; many nieces and nephews, and special cousins, Percy and Erlene Harding.

She was predeceased by her parents, Manley and Ellen Wilkinson; her husband, Kenneth Crocker; brothers, Alfred and George Wilkinson; sister, Barbara Slough; and grandson, Dan Rose.
