1926 – 2016
WILTON — Josephine P. Eaton, 90, of Wilton, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away suddenly with family and friends by her side Tuesday, July 12.
She was born on March 7, 1926, in Milan, N.H., daughter of Frank and Stephanie (Aubin) Peters. On May 6, 1944, she married Arthur C. Eaton. Together they had nine children.
She was the richest mother (recycled teenager) in the world. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing and playing cards. She will be remembered for her giving personality and loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by sons, Richard, Steven, David and Paul Eaton; daughters, Priscilla Atwood, Barbara Nault, and Bette Robbins; grandchildren; great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years; her son, Arthur A.; and daughter, Julia M.; and two great-grandsons.
