1941 – 2016
LEWISTON — Sandra L. Robinson, 75, a resident of Turner, passed away Wednesday, July 20, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born May 5, 1941, in Kingfield, the daughter of Lawrence and Mahla (Churchill) Gordon. She attended school in Kingfield and Strong. On July 27, 1968, she married Perley Robinson in Strong. Sandra worked for Farmington Shoe Company, Livermore Shoe and International Paper Company, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the Oxford Casino, camping and snowmobiling. Sandra loved the outdoors and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years; her sons, Rickie Robinson of Scarborough and Ronald Robinson and his wife, Sally, of Greencove Spring, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her brother, Lawrence Gordon and his wife, Norma, of Wiscasset.
She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Gordon; and her sister Patricia Peary.
