FARMINGTON — Franklin Memorial Hospital employee Kristen Grondin was recently recognized as the Maine Association of Healthcare Administrative Professionals’ allied Health Professional of the Year for helping generate new interest and membership in the association, streamlining conference registrations and sharing its professional passion.
In receiving the award, Grondin was cited because of the 110 percent she gives to everyone and everything, offering support and encouragement when it is needed.
Grondin has been with the hospital since September 2002. She currently supports the chief nursing officer, the Education Department and the organization’s Area Health Education Center grant.
Grondin has been a member of MAHAP since October 2006 and is currently serving her third term as MAHAP’s vice president. She also belongs to the national Association for Healthcare Administrative Professionals and sits on the membership committee.
