MEXICO — The Police Department responded to 90 incidents over the last week, including the following:

• July 21, 8:13 p.m.: John Kausal, 65, of Norridgewock, was arrested on charges of domestic assault, obstructing the report of an officer, and domestic violence criminal threatening. He was released from the Oxford County Jail on July 22, Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said, but was arrested again on July 25 on two counts of violation of bail conditions, and two counts of violation of protection from abuse order.

• July 22: Crystal Shorey, 53, of Mexico had stopped her 2013 Dodge Caravan outside of the U.S. Cellular building on Main Street in Mexico when her brakes malfunctioned, sending her vehicle into the front end of the building. Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said that nobody was injured in the accident, and that Shorey’s vehicle was towed away due to disabling damage. The front door and corner of the U.S. Cellular building was damaged in the accident.

• July 26, 2 p.m.: A Harlow Hill Road resident reported that someone had thrown tomatoes at their vehicle. Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said that a few weeks earlier, the same resident had reported that someone had sliced his car tires. Police have suspects.
