FARMINGTON — A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Geoffrey Shovelton, who passed on July 4, was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Middle Street, Farmington, concelebrated by the Rev. Paul Dumais and the Rev. Roger Chabot.
Special music included “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Be Not Afraid” and “You Are Near.”
His youngest child, Bruno, accompanied by his older son, Dominic, offered a personal eulogy.
Following services, a comfort reception was held in the church undercroft, hosted by the Altar Guild.
Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.
