CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — Department of Maine VFW Auxiliary President Lynn Dunton of Livermore was named Outstanding Runner-Up Department President in her membership group during the 103rd National Convention held July 23-27 at the Charlotte Convention Center.
National President Francisca Guilford served as judge.
Presidents were judged on their participation in the national programs of the organization. Each state president also completed reports on what the members in her state did, as well as describe their achievements. Other factors included membership percentage, the state president’s leadership abilities and how business was conducted in that state.
