LIVERMORE — Forty-seven ladies from area golf courses joined in friendly competition at Maple Lane Golf Course in Livermore to help patients at the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center at Franklin Memorial Hospital. Playing in teams of four, they vied to win free play at other golf courses which all donated to the cause. In the end, over $4,800 was raised.

Prizes were given to teams for lowest scramble scores. First place winners of rounds at Sugarloaf were Sue Clary, Pam Doyen, Louise Parker and Ashlee Quirrion. Second place winners of rounds at Oakdale were Marie Burns, Ann Nemi, Nancy Pratt and Sherrill Rollins. Third place winners of rounds at Maple Lane were Rose DeSlauriers, Katie Dixon, Jodi Grant and Jan Welch. Ashlee Quirrion claimed the prizes for both the longest drive on No 2. and closest to the pin on No. 6
