WINTHROP — The Friends of Bailey Library are inviting the public to a “Paint Night at the Library” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at 39 Bowdoin St.
Proceeds benefit the Friends for programming and to purchase library equipment and books.
No experience is necessary. Maine artist Liz Murphy from Gypsy Canvas in Mexico will provide a step-by-step tutorial of her original artwork. Participants will paint their own hummingbird painting to take home. All materials and supplies will be provided.
Cost is $25 and must be prepaid. Reservations are required. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
