RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will present Choral Arts Camerata at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Oquossoc Log Church on Route 4 in Oquossoc Village.
This chamber ensemble of about 15 voices specializes in a cappella music from the Renaissance through the 21st century. The ensemble has presented a wide range of repertoire, including Bach’s “Mass in B minor,” Richard Einhorn’s “Voices of Light” to accompany the silent film masterpiece “The Passion of Joan of Arc,” and Gian Carlo Menotti’s “The Unicorn, the Gorgon, and the Manticore” in collaboration with Portland Ballet Co.
Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students 18 and younger. They may purchased at the door via cash or check, or online at www.rangeleyarts.org.
There are no public facilities on-site at this location, but they are available in downtown Oquossoc.
