In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please plant something in your garden or that of a loved one, hug your children when they are struggling, happy, or sad, and tell them “Grandma Jeanie” loved them (even if she never met them). Ask someone how they are doing, listen to their challenges, give them a hug, and check in with them at a later time. See them through a difficult time with humor and a hug.
