HARTFORD — International medium and teacher, the Rev. Stephen Hermann, will visit Pinpoint of Light Spritiualist Camp Friday and Saturday, Aug. 26 and 27, at the Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St.

Hermann has more than 40 years’ experience channeling healing and messages from the Spirit world. A teacher with the International Spiritualist Federation, Hermann is also a qualified massage therapist and certified clinical hypnotherapist. Hermann teaches the philosophy of Spiritualism, healing techniques and the practice of spirit communication throughout the world. His recently published book “Mediumship Mastery” teaches spiritual seekers how to distinguish their own imagination from genuine psychic impressions, methods to correctly interpret spirit messages without distortion, ways to receive specific evidence from recognizable spirit communicators, techniques for expanding mediumship as participants spiritualize and enhance existing abilities.

Hermann will lead a séance from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26. There is nothing to be afraid of in a séance. The word, séance, means “sitting.” It is a meeting at which a group of seated people observe contact with spirits of the deceased through the medium Hermann. Those attending often observe unusual happenings including, but not limited to, hearing voices, seeing apparitions, sensing the presence of departed loved ones, visualizations of objects and scents.

It is requested that those planning to attend come with an “open mind” and register in advance, as seating is limited. Cost is a $25 donation to the camp. Doors will close promptly at 7 p.m.

A healing intensive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27. Spiritual healing is God’s love in action and effectively brings balance and harmony to the recipient on all levels of the physical body, mind and soul. As a healing medium, Hermann works with a team of spirit doctors and healers who diagnose the conditions of the patient and administer appropriate treatment. Participants will learn how to recognize and work with their healing band.

Conversation topics will include medical intuition; trance healing and etheric healing; wisdom of the spirit doctors; and seeing inside the physical body: X-ray clairvoyance.
