AUBURN — Rita Bean, 87, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Clover Manor.
She was born April 2, 1929, the daughter of Alfred and Helena Bizier Pratt. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School. She married Richard Bean Sr., who predeceased her.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. She loved camping with her husband and family, reading and gardening.
Survivors are her children, Richard Bean Jr. and wife, Josephena, of Dixfield, Daniel Bean of Dixfield, Deborah Buckley and husband, Curtis, of Monmouth, Robert Bean of Lewiston, Christine Bean of Auburn, Michele Woodham and husband, Jamie, of Dothan, Ala.; 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Lachance of Danville and Jeannine Lacharite of Bowdoin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Bean Sr., son, Paul, daughter, Helena, sister, Irene Morin, brothers-in-law, Eddy Morin, Donald Lachance and Alfred Lacharite.
