WILTON — Town officials are urging boaters who load or unload boats from trailers at the Wilson Lake boat launch to use caution due to low water levels.
Wilson Lake’s water level is lower than normal due to the lack of rain, and the boat ramp is completely exposed. There is a risk of vehicles and trailers getting stuck while loading or unloading boats beyond the boat ramp.
The boat launch area remains open, but boaters are cautioned that entry and exit from the water may be difficult.
