Key losses: Riley Robinson (QB/DB), Gavin Arsenault (RB/DB), Bennett Dorian (OG/DT), Mike Casey (RB/LB).
Promising newcomers: Seniors — Andrew Cayer (WR/DB). Juniors — Jon Wainwright (C/LB). Sophomores — Alex Gorham (RB/LB), Jack Lavorgna (OG/DE), Nolan Degroot (OG/LB), Cameron Kidder (SE/LB).
Season outlook: The Cougars low turnout is bolstered by ample returning experience, but depth will be a question mark, so staying healthy is paramount. Hersom said they will be a middle-of-the-pack team in D South, but expects them to be strongest near the end of the season.
