FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Leigh Ronald, PT, DPT, a 2009 graduate of Mt. Blue High School in Farmington, Maine, recently became a nationally board-certified member of the physical therapy staff at the Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital.

Ronald earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in May 2016, graduating with honors. Her clinical training took place at Select Physical Therapy in Auburn, Maine; Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, New Hampshire; University Hospital at The University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Summit Neurological Rehabilitation, Brookfield, Connecticut.

She graduated cum laude from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2013 where she majored in community health with a double minor in biology and coaching.

She lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, and is the daughter of David and Susan Ronald of Chesterville, Maine.
