BETHEL — SeniorsPlus will present the ninth annual Aging Well Living Well Expo from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at the Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center at Sunday River.

More than 30 workshops will include law, health, exercise, cooking and art. They are 75 minutes each. Topics range from the more serious, such as planning for the end of life, to first-time explorations like line-dancing, woodcarving and home brewing.

Longtime WCSH meteorologist Kevin Mannix will deliver the breakfast keynote. He and wife Linda Rota recently published “Weathering Shame.”

“Our goal is to offer new learning opportunities to enlighten and encourage active aging and improved quality of life,” said Betsy Sawyer-Manter, president and CEO of SeniorsPlus.

Tickets cost $25 per person and include breakfast and lunch, as well as entrance to workshops. They may be purchased at www.seniorsplus.org/AWLW or by calling 1-800-427-1241. Advance registration is recommended.
