LEWISTON — Rebecca Grover will be guest speaker at the L-A Rotary Club from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Ramada Inn.

Grover is the GO MAINE coordinator, a position she’s held for the past three years. The program is part of the Maine Turnpike Authority, where Grover has worked for the past 19 years.

Grover oversees the MTA’s alternative transportation programs, such as GO MAINE, ZOOM, and the park and ride lots. She is a member of the public relations and legislative team at the Maine Turnpike Authority.

Grover has her master’s degree in geo-environmental studies from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine at Farmington in geology and geography.

Grover is a Mainer and loves her home state. When not working, she spends most of her time with her two children, often organizing carpools for their many activities.
