1933 – 2016
AUBURN — Ronald W. Foss, 83, of Sabattus passed away Monday, Sept. 12, at Clover Manor in Auburn.
Ronald was born March 4, 1933, a son of the late Elmer and Priscilla (Roberts) Foss. Ron was educated in local schools and went on to own Foss’ dairy for 32 years, proudly serving Lewiston-Auburn and the surrounding areas. Ron enjoyed bowling and driving to Boothbay Harbor to enjoy a boat ride. Ron enjoyed the peaceful time spent mowing his lawn and time spent with his beloved dog, Toto, and was an avid sports fan.
Ron is survived by his wife of 13 years, Wanda (Casteel-Canny) Foss; his children, Debra Lessard and her husband, Marc, of Mechanic Falls, Jeffrey Foss and wife, Christine, of Lewiston, as well as Glenn Foss and companion, Darcy Ames, of Auburn. Ron also leaves five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four stepchildren, Kayla Shirell of Oklahoma, Chris, Curtis and Cory Canny of Iowa; and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Ron was predeceased by his parents; and his first wife, Constance J. (Charest) Foss.
