1937 – 2016

LEWISTON — Lucienne M. Morin, 78, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion where she resided for the past two years.

Born in Lewiston on Nov. 21, 1937, a daughter of the late Cyrille and Clara Royer Tanguay, she was educated in Lewiston schools.

Lucienne was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church and was married to Roger Morin, who died in 1984. She enjoyed bingo, cards, watching TV soap operas, coloring and puzzles at the nursing home. She worked in the local shoe industry prior to her retirement. Our mom will be remembered for being loving and caring.

She is survived by a son, Robert R. Morin and wife, Denise, of Lewiston; two daughters, Jeannette Brosious and companion, Steve Clough, of Lewiston, Jennifer Gillis and husband, Corey of Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Alec, Spencer and Bailey; two sisters, Laurie Perreault and husband, Real, of Lewiston and Rita Giroux of Bingham.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Jeannette and Laurette Tanguay; three brothers, Lionel, Richard and Normand Tanguay.
