LISBON — Emma Houle scored on a penalty kick with 7:26 left in the second half to give Lisbon a 1-0 girls’ soccer victory over Carrabec.

The Cobras outshot their opponents 13-11 yet failed to find the net on Tuesday.

Ali Sult made nine saves for the Greyhounds (5-1-2) to notch the shutout, while Kelsey Creamer turned aside six shots for Carrabec.

Traip 1, St. Dom’s 0

KITTERY — Sadie Humiston’s goal off a penalty kick in the second half propelled Traip to a 1-0 victory over St. Dom’s in girls’ soccer action.

In the midst of a great defensive effort, at the 27:09 mark, the Saints were called for a hand ball, setting up the penalty kick goal for Hummiston. Abby Castonguay made nine saves in net for the Saints (1-8). Somer Huntress stopped four shots in net for Traip (4-4).

Monmouth 8, Winthrop 0

WINTHROP — Audrey Fletcher had a hat trick to lead the Monmouth Mustangs to the 8-0 victory over the Winthrop Ramblers in a MVC girls’ soccer contest.

Tia Day had a pair of goals and an assist while Emily Grandhal had a pair of goals. Haley Fletcher had one goal.

Shie Smith made 12 saves for Winthrop (3-5-1) while Katie Harris stopped two shots for Monmouth (9-0).

Lewiston 2, Cony 0

AUGUSTA — A pair of goals in the second half was enough to give Lewiston its third straight shutout, as they rolled to a 2-0 victory over Cony in girls’ soccer action Tuesday.

Kelsie Lynch headed a cross from Megan St. Cyr at 37:52 to give the Blue Devils (5-2-1) a 1-0 lead. Kajha Gagnon converted a pass from Dacia Bail just three minutes later to complete the scoring.

Kallie May needed only two saves to notch the shutout, while Gabby Low turned aside 16 shots between the posts for Cony (1-6-1).

Oak Hill 6, Mountain Valley 1

WALES — Eliza Whisenant registered a hat trick to lead Oak Hill to a 6-1 win over Mountain Valley in a mid-season girls’ soccer tilt Tuesday.

Sydney Drew, Lydia Therrien and Anna Dodge also tallied for the Raiders (6-2-1) to complete the scoring. Grace Briggs scored the Falcons’ (4-5-0) lone goal in the second half.

Anna Dodge (6) and Cassidy Tibbetts (3) combined for nine saves for Oak Hill, while Lauren Sterling deflected 10 shots for Mountain Valley.

Hall-Dale 3, Dirigo 1

DIXFIELD — Hall-Dale came up with a pair of well-timed goals in the second half to record a 3-1 victory over Dirigo in more local girls’ soccer action Tuesday.

Sabrina Freeland netted a pair of goals for the Bulldogs, while Addie Davis also tallied. Brittany Freeland scored the Cougars (1-7-1) lone goal in the second half.

Maggie Gross made six saves for Hall-Dale, while Makenzie Ladd turned aside 14 shots for Dirigo.

Gray-New Gloucester 1, Fryeburg 0

FRYEBURG — Mady West converted a pass from Jaley Martin in the second half to give Gray-New Gloucester a 1-0 mid-season girls’ soccer win over Fryeburg.

Chelsea Davis needed only two saves to preserve the shutout, while Makayla Cooper deflected 10 shots between the posts for Fryeburg.

Buckfield 5, Valley 1

BINGHAM — Kali Litchfield registered a hat trick in the second half to propel Buckfield to a 5-1 mid-season girls’ soccer victory over Valley on Tuesday.

Julia Dow chipped in for the Bucks (5-2) with two goals to complete the scoring. Kendra Sweet scored the Cavaliers’ (2-6-1) lone goal in the first half.

Kaylee Harvey made two saves to notch the win, while Samantha West turned aside 14 shots for Valley.

Buckfield 5, Valley 0

BINGHAM — Buckfield jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half and never really backed off the gas Tuesday, cruising to a relatively easy 5-0 mid-season boys’ soccer victory over Valley. 

Dylan Harvey led the Bucks (5-1-1) with two goals and one assist, while Matt Beaucage also netted two goals. Hunter Foss also tallied to complete the scoring, while Ethan Jackson contributed with three assists. 

Jacob Kraske made seven saves to preserve the shutout, while Dillon Beane turned aside 27 shots for the Cavaliers. 

Traip 2, St. Dom’s 0

AUBURN — Andrew Davis and Trevor Salema each netted a goal Tuesday as Traip rolled to a 2-0 boys’ soccer victory over St. Dom’s. 

Jake Nielsen made five saves for Traip (1-6) to notch the shutout, while Brandon Glover turned aside 10 shots for the Saints (1-6). 

Waterville 8, Spruce Mountain 2

JAY — Waterville lit the boards with seven goals in the first half Tuesday and went on to record an 8-2 win over Spruce Mountain in more local boys’ soccer action. 

Ben Danner, Nathan Pinette and Ethan Cayer led the Panthers (4-4-1) with two goals each, while Justin Wentworth and Jack Lloyd also tallied. Brady Walp (first half) and Austin Gilboe (second) scored for Bill Arcetelli’s Phoenix (0-8-0).

Jackson Aldrich made seven saves for Waterville, while Mike Dyke (6) and Andrew Shaw (8) combined to deflect 14 shots for Spruce Mountain.

Fryeburg 1, Gray-New Gloucester 0

GRAY — Senior Nabeel Ghadfa scored three minutes into the contest for the only goal Fryeburg would need as the Raiders garnered a 1-0 victory over Gray-New Gloucester in WMC boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

The Patriots (5-2-1) outpaced the Radiers (4-4) on offense with an 18-3 margin in shots on goal.

Ghadfa maneuvered the ball past two defenders and flipped it past the goal for Fryeburg.

Goalie John Henry Villanueva mad three saves for Gray-New Gloucester, while goalkeeper Will Zeliff turned away 10 to earn the win in net for Fryeburg.

Lewiston 4, Cony 0

LEWISTON — Freshman striker Bilal Hersi plucked two goals in the middle of the contest as Lewiston grabbed a 4-0 victory over Cony in KVAC boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.

The Blue Devils (7-1) led 2-0 at the half. Maulid Abdow and Ben Musese contributed a goal and an assist each. They combined well together with Hersi to bounce back from an uncharacteristic loss in their previous outing.

Goalie Gary Vachon made 22 saves for the Rams, while goaltender Alex Rviet turned back two to earn the win in net for Lewiston.

SMCC 2, CMCC 1

AUBURN — Southern Maine Community College scored both of its goals in the first half in a 2-1 victory over Central Maine Community College on Tuesday.

Bronson Kieltyka and Ryan Forkey scored for the SMCC (5-2-1).

Ryan Bennett scored for CMCC while Ricaija Simmons assisted on the goal.

Patrick Duddy made two saves for SMCC while Austin Wing stopped four shots for CMCC (1-6).
