CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Carrabassett Valley Public Library & Community Center has announced its activities for Homecoming Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8 and 9.
The pie ladies will sell pies, baked goods, hot cider and coffee at 9 a.m. Saturday in the lobby. The sale will last until items are sold out.
There will be a used book sale on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon. It will be in the Spruce Room, downstairs in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge looking toward the Bigelow Range. Those who want a sneak peek at the books can come up to the lodge at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, to help sort and set up.
The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Order forms for the Forever Stone will be available at the library and the book sale. Quilt raffle tickets will be available for purchase. The quilt’s theme is Very Hungry Caterpillar, and was handcrafted by Joanne Noyes. Tickets are $5 each or $10 for three.
