1953 – 2016

AUBURN — Patricia A. Freve, 63, of Buckfield passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 2, at the Hospice House, after a lengthy illness.

Patricia was born in Lewiston on June 13, 1953, a daughter of Gerald E. and Cora Mae (Bergeron) Piper and attended Lewiston schools. She married Richard “Dick” Freve on Aug. 6, 1976, and was a homemaker most of her life and had lived in Buckfield for more than 30 years.

Patricia was very family oriented. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, rock picking, crocheting, going to the ocean, and her pets.

Besides her husband, Dick, of 40 years, she leaves behind two sons, Mike Adkins of Clinton, and Brian Adkins of Auburn; two daughters, Tracey Pease and her husband, Richard, of Jay, and Denise Adkins of Peru; three brothers, Jerry Piper of Leeds, Donald Ray of Sabattus, and Blaine Ray of Farmington; a sister, Judy Ortiz of Lewiston; and 15 grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; a son, Dicky Adkins; three brothers, Ronald Piper, Charles Ray and Bobbi Jackson; and a sister, Sandra Piper.
