1949 – 2016

AUBURN — Richard J. Dixon, 67, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, at his home in Auburn with his family by his side.

He was born in Portland on Feb. 7, 1949, the son of the late John and Eugenia (Beaulieu) Dixon.

Richard was a devout Catholic and he resided in Maine his entire life. He owned and operated the Commercial Glass Co. in Scarborough. Richard’s hobbies included hunting and fishing. He would always be seen with his dog by his side.

Richard is survived by his one brother, Jon, and his wife, Elizabeth Dixon, of Las Vegas, Nev.; his two sisters, Charlene Dixon of Auburn and Marie Samson of Auburn; his stepbrother, David Page of Windham; his nieces, Ellie Dixon, Amanda Rodriguez and Elna Rochlin; and his nephews, Joey Dixon and JD Samson.

He was predeceased by his parents.
