AUBURN — A local man charged with stabbing his girlfriend in July pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and other charges at an arraignment Friday.
Eric Griffey, 44, entered the plea two days after he was indicted on two charges of attempted murder, two charges of elevated aggravated assault, a charge of domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence assault.
Griffey was returned to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn. His bail is set at $250,000.
He is accused of stabbing his then-girlfriend multiple times at their home on Clover Lane.
Griffey is scheduled to appear in court in November.
