AUBURN — Alastair Swett netted his second goal with 22:17 left in regulation to lift North Yarmouth Academy to a 3-2 win over St. Dom’s on Thursday. 

Swett gave NYA a 1-0 advantage in the first frame before Matt Gagnon tied the contest for St. Dom’s (1-12). Mack Pelletier also tallied for the Saints, while Michael Adams scored the second overall goal for North Yarmouth. 

Linus Maurer made four saves for NYA (9-3-1), while the ever-reliable Brandon Glover deflected five shots between the posts for St. Dom’s. 

Telstar 6, Winthrop 

BETHEL — Avry Griffin and Hakan Chartier each registered hat tricks on Thursday as Telstar used an effective two-man assaualt to post a 6-0 late-season boys’ soccer win over Winthrop. 

Kellen True also contributed for the Rebels with two assists, while Boston Ludden made six saves to notch the shutout.

Jani Mikolajczak turned aside 14 shots for the Ramblers. 

Fryeburg 3, Poland 0

POLAND — Nico Bishton led a trio of players to record goals Thursday as Fryeburg hustled to a 3-0 victory over Poland in more late-season boys’ soccer action. 

Nabeel Ghadfa and Gaige Daigle also tallied for the Indinans (6-8) to complete the scoring. 

Will Zeliff made six saves for Fryeburg to notch the shutout, while Matt Thebarge deflected 22 shots for the winless Knights (0-14).

Fryeburg 5, Poland 0

FRYEBURG — Fryeburg built a 3-0 lead in the first frame and added two more after the break to record a 5-0 rout over Poland in a late-season girls’ soccer tilt.

Sophia Trephol led the Indians (5-8) with two goals, while Mackenzie Buzzell, Kalie Eastman and Kaylin Delaney also tallied to complete the scoring. 

Makayla Cooper turned aside eight shots for Fryeburg to preserve the shutout, while Madison Simard and Sydney Hudson combined to record 10 saves for the Knights (3-10). 

Falmouth 6, Gray-NG 1

Mia Conney netted a hat trick to lead host Falmouth to a 6-1 win over Gray-New Gloucester on Thursday.

Amelia Waite, Madison Wolf and Lauren Wendland also tickled the twine for the Yachtsmen (8-4).

Gray-New Gloucester’s Alexa Thayer led the Patriots (6-7) with a goal, while Jordy Grant added an assist. Gray-NG’s Chelsea Davis made six saves.
