OXFORD — The CPR/first aid class scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22, has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Oxford Public Safety building.

The course will teach basic first aid, adult/child/infant CPR, and the use of an automated external defibrillator.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a two-year certificate in accordance with the American Heart Association. This certificate course is accepted for day/child care providers, loggers, guides, teachers and other professions that are not in the health care field.

The class will also be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. Those attending should call to confirm the date.

Groups may schedule a class at their convenience.

Health care BLS CPR re-certifications are done as needed one-on-one.
