Fire departments from several towns, including Norway, Paris, Oxford, Poland, Otisfield and Hebron, responded to the blaze that broke out around 9 p.m.
The apartment building was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and they encountered live wires on the ground. According to an official at the scene, the Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate the cause.
Everyone reportedly was out of the building and no one was injured.
