TURNER — State police are looking for a burglary suspect they say hit three businesses close to each other on Route 4 within a 45-minute span.

“I believe the suspect was looking for cash,” said Trooper Elgin Physic.

The suspect got inside by prying open doors, he said. He doesn’t believe the burglar found any money.

The burglaries took place between 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, when the businesses were closed. the trooper declined to name the establishments, citing the ongoing investigation.

The suspect is believed to be a white man between 5 feet, 8 inches and 6 feet, 2 inches in height. Surveillance camera footage captured him “wearing a very distinctive Superman sweatshirt,” Physic said.

Police are looking for help identifying the man. Anyone with information is asked to call Physic at 207-657-3030.

He also encouraged anyone who sees a strange vehicle where it doesn’t seem to belong to write down the plate number and call police.
