NORWAY — The Western Maine Art Group’s First Friday Reception is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at Main Street Gallery, 426 Main St.
The gallery will display the work of fine artists and artisans living and working in western Maine.
Featured at the gallery throughout November are paintings by Sandra Bell, Western Maine Art Group’s Artist of the Month.
Bell, of Lovell, paints in a variety of styles. Her subjects range from unique views of western Maine to humorous narratives and still life, all with a feeling of spontaneity. She will be present at the reception to discuss her evolution as an artist. Her personal website is sandrajosephinebell.com.
The gallery is open from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. It’s free and open to the public.
