BUCKFIELD — The Buckfield American Legion will serve a hunters breakfast from 5 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

Proceeds will be used for American Legion programming.

DURHAM — Acacia Lodge will hold a benefit supper for C.J. Larrabee Jr. with pork loin and apple cobbler from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, on Route 136.

AUBURN — Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1603 will serve a turkey supper from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at 588 Minot Ave.

Cost: $7 for adults; $3 for children younger than 12.

RUMFORD — The Oxford County Democrats will serve its Final Push Spaghetti Supper from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at the American Legion Hall.

Donations of dessert items and appetizers are needed.

A 50/50 raffle will be held and silent auction items will be featured. Tickets will be sold at the door.

FARMINGTON — Henderson Memorial Baptist Church will serve its Early Bird Breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5.

Cost: $6.

LEWISTON — The next Holy Cross Knights of Columbus Take Out Beans will be from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Holy Cross Church hall, 1080 Lisbon St.

The event will support the Knights’ Coats for Kids campaign. Coats collected at the supper will be distributed to local children in need of winter garments.

Prices range from $3 for a pint of beans to $10 for “the works” with a quart of beans. Orders may be placed by contacting 207-212-5163.

Donations will be accepted, and there will be a 50/50 drawing.

JAY — North Jay Grange No. 10 will serve a baked bean and casserole supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.

Proceeds will sponsor veterans hospital projects.

PARIS — Paris Fire Department Auxiliary will sponsor a roast pork supper with homemade pie at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Paris fire station on Western Avenue.

CHESTERVILLE — The Chesterville Grange will be serve a public hunters breakfast from 5 to 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.

There will be music and raffles.

Attendees should bring a nonperishable food item for Fayette Baptist Church.
