OXFORD — A Lyme disease fundraiser raffle to benefit Erica LeBel and her struggle with Lyme disease will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Oxford Recreational Center.
LeBel, 28, contracted the disease four years ago and began treatment in 2015. The treatment, just like her illness, is aggressive.
Among the symptoms of the disease are chronic pain, joint degeneration, lymphatic system problems, neurological problems, severe headaches, mood changes, vision loss, chronic fatigue and depression.
Local businesses have donated items for the raffle, including jewelry. Donations are still being accepted.
FMI, donate: 207-743-6452.
