LEWISTON — The L-A Veterans Council will sponsor a Veterans Ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Lewiston Armory on Central Avenue.
There will be several color guards participating in the Pass in Review. The Edward Little Marching Band will also perform.
This is an annual event for the public to attend to thank servicemen and women, including veterans.
The council is made up of American Legion Post 22 of Lewiston; American Legion Post 135, Sabattus; American Legion Post 153, Auburn; AMVETS Post and Auxiliary, Post 6, New Gloucester; DAV Chapter 11;Franco American Post 31 of Lewiston; Marine Corps League of Central Maine Detachment; Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter; VFW Post 1603, Auburn; and VFW Post 9150, Lewiston.
