LEWISTON — Paul Landry, a chef and owner of Fish Bones American Grill in Lewiston, presented four $2,000 scholarships to four culinary graduates of The Green Ladle at Lewiston Regional Technical Center.

The recipients exhibited a level of passion, dedication and industry-related work and knowledge. The scholarships were sponsored by Fish Bones American Grill.

The Fish Bones Hospitality Scholarship recipients are Tamara Morgan, Logan Williams, Julian Kirouac and Bronwyn Gray.

The Fish Bones Hospitality Scholarship Fund has given over $20,000 to local individuals pursuing careers in the hospitality industry. The funds are available for graduating high school seniors and adults in the midst of a career change.

Landry and Chef Dan Caron, culinary director at The Green Ladle, started the scholarship program in 2011 and recently partnered with College for ME Androscoggin to add ancillary programs such as counseling services their organization provides for navigating the financial realities of students headed to college and their parents, and adults changing careers.
