GREENWOOD — Trail advocates and users will convene for the Mahoosuc Community Trails Symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Mt. Abram Ski Area.

The symposium will build an understanding of each group’s interests, and bridge interests to build, promote and steward a network of trails in the community. There will be an opportunity to explore challenges, learn from other communities, and build a culture of understanding.

The Mahoosuc Community Trails Planning Team has been working with trail leaders and groups across the region to deliver a diverse and informative day for all trail advocates, affinity groups and users.

There will be hands-on outdoor programs, lunch and speakers from around the region.

Speakers include:

* Lee Dassler, Western Foothills Land Trust, keynote address;
