LEWISTON — Linda Cronkite, a 2016 tax season volunteer for the Lewiston-Auburn CA$H Coalition, has accepted the position of asset coordinator for the 2017 tax season. Her background consists of leadership in education and financial literacy.

Established in 2003 by the city of Lewiston, the coalition provides free tax preparation/e-filing for low-to-moderate income workers and provides them with information about wise use of their household income, ranging from budgeting to saving.

Cronkite will lead the charge to integrate financial capability at tax time. As asset coordinator, she will be at the Lewiston Memorial Armory for 10 weeks beginning at the end of January through March 31. She will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays; 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays; 12:30 to 4 p.m. Fridays; and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
