Christmas Decoration Sale Nov. 26
FARMINGTON — The Fairbanks School’s annual Christmas Decoration Sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at the school at 508 Fairbanks Road/Route 4.
Proceeds benefit the winter maintenance fund.
There will be new and gently used indoor/outdoor Christmas decorations, linens, toys, ornaments, tins, decorated trees and more. Gift items will be sold.
Donations are being accepted.

Wreaths sough for Festival of Wreaths
CANTON — Canton Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will hold its fourth annual Festival of Wreaths from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 26 and 27 and Dec. 3 and 4, at 90 Turner St.
The Auxiliary will display wreaths of many themes, real and artificial, for patrons to bid on in an auction style by depositing tickets with their favorite wreaths. Winners will be drawn after close on Dec. 4. pick up/delivery arrangements are made. Tickets cost $5 for six tickets or one ticket for $1.
In the past proceeds have been used to help with truck repairs and tracks for the utility vehicle. This summer, the Auxiliary provided donations to three families who were displaced from their homes due to house fires.
