FARMINGTON — St. Joseph Parish has announced that effective Sunday, Nov. 27, the parish will add a 5 p.m. Mass on Sunday.
As part of the new schedule, the 6 p.m. Mass on Saturdays will be eliminated.
“This will provide both St. Joseph Parish and St. Rose of Lima Parish in Jay with the broadest range of Mass times supporting families as they balance rest, sports schedules and other commitments,” said the Rev. Paul Dumais, pastor of both parishes.
Confessions will now be offered at 4 p.m. at St. Joseph Parish on Sundays, prior to the new Mass time.
Here are the new weekly Mass schedules for both parishes:
St. Rose of Lima Parish: at 4 p.m. Saturdays and 8:30 a.m. Sundays at 1 Church Street, Jay.
St. Joseph Parish: 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sundays at 133 Middle St., Farmington.
FMI: 207-778-2778.
