DEAR SUN SPOTS: The West Paris Fire Auxiliary is canceling our Christmas Craft Fair at the West Paris Agnes Gray gym due to a lack of vendors. We will be returning all monies we have received from vendors. The craft fair was scheduled for Dec. 3. Thank you for your understanding. — Mary, West Paris.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I believe that someone who was interested in my pickup truck has stolen my registration and insurance cards. I had them enclosed in a folder. I don’t know what to do next. I wanted to send the truck in for repair and now I can’t. — No name, no town.

ANSWER: If you suspect that your license plate or stickers have been stolen, you should file a police report with your local law enforcement agency. If this is just your registration certificate, you should be able to contact the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles to request a duplicate. Duplicate insurance cards can also be requested from your insurance company. It is best to do this as soon as possible to avoid traffic citations or other complications from a lack of proof of registration and insurance.
