2000 – 2016

TURNER — Kristofer M. McClellan, 16, a resident of 18 Hickson Drive, Turner, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 27, at his residence.

He was born in Lewiston, March 15, 2000, the son of Scott McClellan and Michele (Riddell) O’Connor. Kristofer grew up in Turner, and was currently a junior at Leavitt Area High School.

Kristofer was a sweet and gentle soul, had a great sense of humor, and was an absolute joy. He loved his video games, music and fishing. He was an active participant on a friend’s online radio show at Bates College. Kristofer was an avid movie buff, able to answer any given trivia question.

Despite his challenges, Kristofer met and exceeded expectations in the classroom where he was awarded the Laura Leavitt Award at Leavitt Area High School in recognition of his accomplishments.

Survivors include his maternal great-grandmother, Cecilia Riddell; his paternal grandmother, Patricia McClellan; his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Carole Riddell; his parents, Michele O’Connor and husband, James; his father, Scott McClellan and his wife, Susan; four brothers, Seth McClellan and wife, Miranda, Scott McClellan Jr., Adam Deal and wife, Amanda, and stepbrother, Cory O’Connor; one sister and best friend, Carolann McClellan and companion, Miranda Prescott. Kris also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kristofer was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Elmer McClellan.
