LIVERMORE FALLS — At a recent meeting, the Jay-Livermore Falls Lions Club donated $500 each to Spruce Mountain High School’s Robotics and Envirothon teams.

The club hosted Dan Lemieux, Robotics faculty adviser, and SMHS senior Austin Gilboe of the Envirothon Team.

The money was presented after a presentation on what each team is working on.

The Lions Club meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at the Chuck Wagon Restaurant on Depot Street in Livermore Falls. Social time is at 6 p.m.; dinner at 6:30 p.m. The club’s mailing address is P.O. Box 33, Livermore Falls, ME 04254. The club is always looking for new members who desire to serve their community.
