FARMINGTON — The Farmington Emblem Club No. 460 recently held its December meeting.

During the meeting, Rep. Russell Black, R-Wilton, presented the club with an Americanism Proclamation. 

The club collected items, such as pajamas and winter clothing, for the Franklin County Children’s Task Force. The Task Force will be distribute the items locally for Christmas and winter needs. 

The club participated in the Festival of Trees. The club’s tree was purchased by UMF President Kate Foster. 

The club also donated 12 baskets to the Gerry Wiles Holiday Basket program for Franklin County and made a monetary donation to the Wreathes Across America.
