The employee, whose name was not released, was treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston and released, the chief said.

The property owner was not at the site when the call came in at 9:15 a.m., Guptill said.

The garage was heavily damaged. There is “damage to walls and the inside, but it’s still standing,” the chief said. The fire was out by noon, he said.

The property is insured.

Turner Fire and Rescue and Buckfield, Auburn, Leeds, Greene, Wales and Livermore firefighters responded to the scene.
