AUGUSTA — Hannah Chaput paced Lewiston with to a 63-32 victory over Cony at the Augusta Civic Center on Wednesday afternoon.
Victoria Harris had 11 points as the Blue Devils improved to 3-2 on the season.
Sidney Avery led the Rams (0-5) with 13 points.
Boys’ basketball
Hall-Dale 77, Mtn. Valley 67
AUGUSTA — Sophomore guard Alec Byron tickled the twines for 24 points as Hall-Dale notched a 77-67 overtime victory over Mountain Valley in boys’ basketball action Wednesday evening.
The Bulldogs (6-0) were 20-of-22 from the free throw line. Senior forward Alec Roberts contributed 17 points for Hall-Dale.
Zach Duguay and Davis Keegan provided 12 and 11 points, respectively, for the Falcons (3-4) in the losing effort.
Girls’ ice hockey
Lewiston/Monmouth/Oak Hill 7, Portland/Deering 1
LEWISTON — Katie Lemieux and Veda Leclerc netted two goals each as Lewiston/Monmouth/Oak Hill glided to a 7-1 victory over Portland/Deering in girls’ ice hockey action Wednesday evening.
The Blue Devils scored two goals in the first and third periods. Jordan Mynahan added a goal and an assist.
Raven Bradenday converted a pass from Maeve LeClair at 10:33 of the first period for the only Bulldog goal in the contest.
