NORWAY — The Progress Center, 35 Cottage St., announces that two members of its case management team have earned professional licenses with the state.

Maureen Bilodeau, a six-year employee and 2015 Employee of the Year, earned her licensed clinical professional counselor-conditional license in December. She has made social services her lifelong career, beginning in early childhood education in the 1980s to now providing case management services to children and families.

Bilodeau earned a Master of Science degree in human services from Springfield College in December 2012. The LCPC-C certification will bring her closer to her goal of owning an independent practice with a focus on helping children and families to accomplish their goals.

Hillary McAllister joined The Progress Center in 2015. She began her career teaching secondary education before completing her Master of Science in education degree and Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England. She provides community case management in The Progress Center’s Bridgton office.

McAllister’s newly earned LMSW-CC will allow the agency to begin implementation of the waiver that provides short-term, in-home therapy with families and children. Referrals for this service will be taken in February. Her long-term goals are to provide art therapy with the desire to increase the number of therapeutic services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
