JAY — A town plow truck and a car collided at Oak and Main streets on Wednesday morning, police said. No one was injured.

Shari Ouellette, 45, of Jay was driving on Oak Street toward Main Street, also known as Route 4, and Public Works Department employee Terry Greenleaf, 51, of Jay was turning right onto Oak Street from Main Street, Sgt. Russell Adams said.

As the Ford 550 one-ton dump truck turned, the car slid and was unable to stop at the intersection, he said. The plow hit the driver’s front side of the 2008 Ford Taurus owned by Ouellette’s mother, Linda Ouellette.

Shari Ouellette is a Regional School Unit 73 school director.

There was no damage to the truck and moderate damage to the car, Adams said.
