SOUTH PARIS — Roger A. Poulin, 91, of Auburn passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris, following a brief illness.
He was born in Auburn on Sept. 22, 1925, the son of the late Joseph D. and Laura (Dionne) Poulin. He was a World War II veteran, plus a POW.
He married Rita I. Beaudoin on Sept. 11, 1949, and had three children. He worked for 39 years at Albany International. Roger loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his three children, R. William Poulin and his wife, Susan, of Pembroke, N.H., Pamela L. Downing and her husband, Patrick, of Otisfield and Sharon L. Bussiere and her husband, John, of Graham, N.C.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
The family wishes to thank the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris for their special care in the final months of his life.
