Cancer Center’s 10 Tips for Health
NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine will host Sarah Carter, community Nutrition Educator from Healthy Oxford Hills, to offer a new class, 10 Tips to Health.
This interactive class will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on the second Monday of the month beginning Feb. 13 at the Center located at 199 Main St.
The class will discuss ways to increase fruits and vegetables in diet, share recipes and taste testing. A light lunch will follow.

Free blood pressure screening
RUMFORD — The Rumford Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation department is offering free blood pressure screenings between 3 and 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, and Wednesday, Feb. 15. The screenings are open to the public.
All screening participants will be entered to win a free month of the Community Wellness Program, allowing community members to exercise in the Rumford Hospital Wellness Center Gym.

Herbs that help you adapt to stress
LEWISTON — The Ark & Olive Branch Cafe will host a winter herb class from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 791 Lisbon St.
Jane Kuntz, family and consulting herbalist, will present “Stress Less — Adaptogens,” which will discuss what herbs help bodies adapt to stress.
