LEWISTON — Robert “Bob” W. Robbins, 71, of Lewiston died Thursday, Feb. 2.

He was born in Rockland on Feb. 27, 1945, a son of Donald and Gladys Widdecombe Robbins. He worked as a fisherman in New Bedford and was known on the CB as “Fisherman.” He worked at Allen & Coles Moving Systems as a foreman for 19 years. Bob was a member of the Sons of the Legion and past treasurer and president of the Eagles. He was married to Betty Ann Robbins for 45 years; she predeceased him.

He is loved by seven children, two brothers, a sister and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
